Un Shoe drive

We did this project about two years ago our goal was to design and create 50 shoes for kids in Africa, and everyone got super creative wit their patterns and designs and it was a generally enjoyable experience and was also more meaningful because we all knew that what we were doing was for a good cause. I also remember doing a small short speach that night and through the process of making the speech I can recollect myself researching and learning more about the UN organization and the current life situation of these people. I remember, that was one of the many epiphanies I had that year, about wanting to start a volunteer group and shortly after S.O.W was created.
